Community Outreach

The Law Firm of Steven I. Fried, P.C. has been instrumental in helping, educating and aiding the various communities where our clients reside. We strongly believe that our “grass roots” approach to our clients is one which makes our local communities better educated, more knowledgeable of their legal rights.

Our law firm has sponsored the Ecuadorian Parade for many years. This parade takes place on Northern Blvd. in the Jackson Heights/Corona sections of Queens each August. Our firm sponsors a float and a band to help make the day a great success for our friends and clients in the Latino community.

Our law firm has also become involved in educating the immigrant Latino population of New York. We have written numerous articles in Latino newspapers and periodicals and regularly give speeches to construction workers. The topics include; labor laws governing construction site safety, what to do if you are in an accident, legal rights and catastrophic injuries.

In addition, we have met with and discussed legal and legislative issues with high ranking legislators such as Mayor of New York City Rudolph Giuliani and United States Senator Charles Schumer.
